Sigh. What are the friggin odds that I ran a full Titanium Backup of apps+system data yesterday morning, did a SMS backup last night at 9:30, yet the important things I lost were from 11-1 last night.
Important payment info lost, which other than looking stupid I can ask for again. And worse, GF pissed and I would have really liked to the read the messages sent/received when I was half-asleep/sleeping last night lol

That's shitty, and I have an idea, I was contemplating doing the same thing last night as my carrier has my htc one stuck at 4.1 still.

Just curious, what do you use for SMS backup? I usually have no luck with that when I'm switching ROMs.

"Converstation Backup"
It only does a backup of SMS, so any MMS pictures/files you didn't directly save will be lost from the conversation list.
I tried a few others and they would limit backups to 1000 messages (for all contacts combined) or would crap out when doing MMS backups, so they are lost either way.
I backed up 15,000 SMS messages yesterday, 120+ contact conversations, and it took a few minutes. Restoring takes a little longer.

My Evo Lte took a dump last week, EMMC chip gave up the goat. Htc one arrives today.

Basically I was running a stable (full release) version of CM10.1.3 - Android 4.2.2. Cyanogen has an automatic update feature and I was looking at it last night and saw they had released nightly builds (work in progress, may contain bugs) of CM10.2 - Android 4.3. So this morning I got up and thought, what the hey, I'll give it a whirl.
When I upgraded from CM10.1 to 10.1.3 it ran the update as if it were factory Google/Samsung. Just click it, it downloads, phone restarts and it is installed. No changes to apps, widgets, user data, etc.
Well the nightly build had a bug, phone would restart when I tried using Chrome. No big deal, I'll just rollback to the stable CM10.1.3 and everything will be good. Well I guess when you rollback you are forced to wipe everything so I was already in the progress of rolling back and couldn't do another backup of everything.
Kind of shot myself in the foot.

Sucks man! Im not sure if I will root the One yet, I will at least wait until its out of warranty like I did with the LTE, and since the one has the google rom available, just swap to vanilla once I do root.

Sorry, the one I suggested is one of the shitty ones. This is what I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/det…
